Singateh’s Inc is a company established by Singateh a.k.a Freaky Joe and his Manager Pa Ousman Joof on April 10th 2006 during Singateh’s USA tour in college park , Atlanta, Ga. It aims at tapping ,nurturing ,promoting and producing up coming artist the world over under Singateh’s label in addition to providing easy and convenient access to Singateh’s products and services including his CDS, DVDS, T-SHIRTS , STICKERS , PICTURES, CHAIR RENTAL, GENERATOR RENTAL , RECORDING STUDIO, A MOBILE SOUND SYSTEM, VIDEO SHOOTING AND EDITING, PHOTO COPYING SERVICES etc.

Singateh met with Pa Ousman Joof who served as the chairperson of the GAMSAINTS RECONCILATION  programme in 2002 during which Singateh released his first song GAMSAINTS RECONCILIATION featuring the SUNS OF LIGHT formally known as the boyz in the UNITED STATES in the late 90s.It was after this song that Pa Ousman who was involved with a lot of social activities noticed Singateh’s unique talents and potentials and decided to promote and help him in every possible way.

Singateh having noticed Pa Ousman’s seriousness and dedication towards his music decided to appoint him as his Manager. Since then, the two have been struggling together trying to make things happen until in 2004 when Pa Ousman left the Gambia for the United States. Constant communication remained between them during this period while Singateh appointed an acting Manager until in March 2006 when Singateh went for a tour of the USA that they both met again and continued working.

This long awaited and talked about dream and vision came in to effect after both of them sat together and identified their areas of interest and concerns about the Gambian entertainment industry .Hence the birth of SINGATEHS INC.

SING A TEH's BIOGRAPHY

Sing a teh a.k.a Freaky Joe was born in Bansang, a small town in the Central River Division of the Gambia, West Africa. He did his entire childhood education (Primary and early Secondary ) at Bansang and shortly attended Armitage Senior Secondary School before moving to the Greater Banjul Area in 2001 to continue his Secondary School Education at Gambia High School. He has served as a school prefect and the Deputy Head boy of Bansang Junior Secondary School during his time.

Born in 1982 his real name is ALHAGIE SINGHATEH .He has assumed several positions of responsibilities and has emerged very top positions in both academics and extra curricular activities within and out side of school.

Sing a teh's music career started in 2001 when he composed his first single "GAMSAINTS RECONCILIATION" a song dedicated to Gambian students urging them to reconcile and put aside there differences for national interest .Composed during the Gamsaints Reconciliation week (a reconciliation programme between Gambia High and St Augustine's High School-the 2 top most rival schools in terms of sports and academics in the Gambia ),this single earned Sing a teh much credibility ,respect , love and popularity within the Gambian community as this said programme was cherished by the entire nation including Religious Leaders, Politicians and Businessmen as well as Students and Teachers .This single became a hot cake on all local Radio Stations and the video was constantly and repeatedly aired over the state television .

It was not long after Sing a teh's popularity that he dropped another single called "MORE MESSAGE" which calls for Youth Empowerment.

This two singles within a year earned him the opportunity to be nominated as the BEST SOLO ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2002, WEST COAST RADIO ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2002, YIDAC PILLAR OF THE YEAR 2002, FRIENDS OF THE CHILDREN AND SEVERAL OTHER AWARDS AND TITLES. From then on, he kept on excelling to higher heights winning more awards and soon started his own concerts across the country making his music and lyrics well known and loved by all and sundry.

The Gambian show biz started growing bigger and bigger since after the discovery of Sing a teh's unique and melodious voice and the quality music beats often created for him by his producer HAKIM OF THE "SUNS OF LIGHT". Sing a teh is the first Gambian artist whose voice was heard on BBC’s famous morning programme “NETWORK AFRICA”.

He has virtually performed and collaborated with different local and International big time Artists within and outside of the Gambia including JALIBA KUYATEH ,SAMBOU SUSO FROM THE GAMBIA, and international stars like K-MAN, EMMERSON BAKIRI, KHADY BLACK, JUNGLE LEADERS, DX3 ,VEE(VELMA) FROM SIERRA LEONE, RAS KAYNOR (Senegal).

From there on, Sing a teh's music keep spreading in neighboring countries like SENEGAL and SIERRA LEONE on high gear which is making waves on all radio stations especially in Sierra Leone under the promotion of Sierra Leonean biggest show biz promoter SUPREME INC. He has also traveled to both countries to promote his music. 

Sing a teh released his first 9 track Audio Album in the local market of the Gambia in July 2005 and in December 2005; he released a 13 track CD album for the European Market which was distributed in major European Countries including Sweden, Germany, England, Norway Finland etc under the promotion of www.onegambia.com. He reproduced the same CD Album (adding two brand new songs) and its promotional DVD Videos in the USA during his 2006 tour. This tour which was facilitated by the African Artist Association (an agency in the business of tapping and promoting African Artist the world over headquartered in Queens-N.Y) served as an eye opener and an extra step in the right direction for Sing a teh as it gave him the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and learnt a lot of new things as well.

Sing a teh is back again in studio in the United States to record a new album before his return to Africa. This new album is more of Dance hall; Hip hop boom Mbalax, Reggae and Raga tone that is fully fit for any market. He did collaborate with few American up coming stars, ,made new videos and his united states tour DVD is under production ,which include live performances in NEW YORK , ATLANTA , SEATTLE , MARYLAND , COLLEGES, RADIO SHOWS , STUDIO SESSIONS , TRAVELING JOURNEYS AND LIVE INTERVIEWS WITH FRIENDS AND FANS .

He also had a lot of interviews with news papers like www.ONEGAMBIA.COM, FREEDOM NEWSPAPER, ALLGAMBIANS.NET, WRFG (89.3FM) in Atlanta, KBCS (91.3FM) IN SEATTLE, RADIO TAM TAM on line (COIN CULTUREL under www.seneweb.com ) .
